An Evening with Wee Daniel at the London Irish Centre

Wee Daniel is heading across the pond!

Aoife grew up in a tiny corner of Northwest Ireland … a place that also happened to give us the country's favourite inoffensive entertainment icon, Daniel O'Donnell. Join this unlikely duo as they journey through rural queerness, community and grief, banding together to celebrate the place they both call home. With original songs and Aoife’s unique flavour of feral cabaret joy, this is a heartfelt love letter to the people that made us who we are.

Winner of the inaugural Theatre Lovett award and nominated for Bewleys Little Gem Award at Dublin Fringe Festival 2024.

Written and performed by Aoife Sweeney O’Connor

Produced by Lisa Nally

Directorial & Dramaturgical Support by Ultan Pringle & Kelly Shatter

Songs by Aoife Sweeney O’Connor, Paul Prior & Anna Jacob

Songs produced by Tom Jacob

Lighting Design by Eimear Conroy

Additional Dramaturgical Support by Clíona Malin

Supported by Dublin Fringe Festival, An Grianán Theatre, Xnthony and Stoke Improv
